Dear Profit Takeover reader,

We have seen a series of short covering rallies in SPY…

And likely, that’s what will happen again –

A quick rally into the Fed and then a tank afterward.

We are keeping this in mind with our trades today –

And I will be interested to see if my predictions are correct once the FOMC minutes come out.

We won’t be falling for the rope-a-dope rally in the Profit Revolution this week.

Instead we will focus on utilizing volatility to find cheap option plays that involve either strategic closing spreads or other hedged options trades.

I have been focusing heavily on education in the Profit Revolution lately…

Because I want to make sure traders have time to practice entering and exiting these more complex trades on paper before putting their hard earned cash in a trade.

Even though we’ve been in a bear market –

There’s a huge opportunity to play the market for asymmetric profit potential…

The Profit Revolution trades have been on fire lately…

Profit Revolution Closed Track Record as of March 1

Volatility Forecast

Green Traffic LightMy VIX traffic light is still green today.

Barclays cut off distribution of shares in VXX…

So while VXX is exploding higher – to 34.88 at the time of writing this – the rest of the complex is falling…

VXX is completely separate from VIX itself.

VIX is flat today, mostly on the back of VXX.

Despite SPX being higher this morning, the VIX official settlement was 32.28.

Wednesday 3/16: 10:30 am – 11:30 am Profit Takeover

Thursday 3/17: 11:00 – 11:30 am Profit Takeover

Friday 3/18: 10:00-11:00 am Profit Takeover

  1. Barclays iPath Series B S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures ETN (BATS:VXX)

As stated above, Barclays has halted share issuance.

I would be looking to face once the squeeze backs off.

I will be setting up a VXX trade today in the Profit Revolution.

  1. Exxon Mobil Corp (NYSE:XOM)

XOM is getting smoked on the oil retrace.

Since it’s back below 80 now, this could be a chance to go long.

  1. Lucid Group Inc (NASDAQ:LCID)

LCID is heading to 15.

I am looking for short opportunities.
