The Most Important Week to Trade Earnings
Dear Profit Takeover reader,
My VIX light is yellow heading into earnings –
Which means we could see wild moves up or down in volatility – and in the market.
VIX futures are flat…
Which could mean that the markets will turn around and get better…
(SPY has been a bloodbath the past week – now down to 421.63) –
Or they could continue to plummet fast…
And it’s anyone’s guess what will happen long term.
But as options traders…

These big names post earnings this week:
- Tomorrow – Alphabet Inc Class A (NASDAQ:GOOGL) earnings are scheduled April 26, 2022
- Wednesday – Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:FB) earnings are scheduled April 27, 2022
- Thursday – Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) earnings are scheduled April 28, 2022
- Thursday – Altria Group Inc (NYSE:MO) earnings are scheduled April 28, 2022
- Friday – Exxon Mobil Corp (NYSE:XOM) earnings are scheduled April 29, 2022
- Friday – Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) earnings are scheduled April 29, 2022
BP plc (NYSE:BP) has earnings scheduled next week on May 3, 2022…
Coca-Cola Co (NYSE:KO) just posted earnings this morning, so during the Profit Revolution show today, we will be trading the aftermath…

With news of a buyout on the horizon, I will be watching the IV here… (red line above). This represents the price of a stock’s options, so as it drops lower, I’m interested in buying.
- Coca-Cola Co (NYSE: KO)
KO just reported earnings this morning – Apr 25, 2022 – EPS were up 10.44% and revenue was up 6.82% for Q1…
It is now at $65.19 –
I think we are seeing a rope-a-dope – when some traders are convinced a stock is moving up – but it falls instead.

We may see a fade here… I will be looking at puts during the Profit Revolution show…
- Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL)
AAPL also shares earnings this week on April 28, 2022 – Thursday…
It’s currently below $160 at $159.87 –

This might be one rare name I’d play during earnings.
