Today during the live Profit Takeover show, I shared what I will be trading short-term and long term in VIX and other VIX products –

I am still expecting wild moves in VIX since my VIX light is yellow –

VIX is currently at 26.75 – which is middle-of-the-road for VIX, but down from yesterday.

VIX shows the relative cost of options on the S&P…

And VVIX – or volatility of volatility – shows how expensive it is to buy VIX options.

We haven’t seen VVIX this low since October 2019…

So this allows us to buy VIX options at levels we won’t see for a long time –

Even other VIX products like UVXY, UVIX, and SVIX are cheap…

VIX futures are still in contango…

When VIX futures are in contango, it leaves room for VIX to drop…

And UVXY and UVIX are likely to drop as well –

When I see a buy signal for UVIX – I will buy a far-dated put for $1…

We are not there yet though.
