This Strat Will Change Your Trading Game

Before the long weekend, I wanted to share a strategy that has upped my trading game… and has become one of my favorite ways to profit –
Here’s how it worked in MRO this week:
I’ve been eyeing energy trades lately, and on the 10th, I found one for under $1 in MRO:
Over the next 13 trading days, the Profit Revolution traders made our typical exits with a combined weighted gain of 130% in less than 2 weeks:
And even though it took almost two weeks, we still walked away with a massive profit because…
We beat the time decay that is inherent in every single options trade.
Since MRO was pushing new highs, I decided to roll the trade up and buy a HALF position of calls.
We had already taken home some dollars, and I figured MRO was heading higher – so this was the recommendation I made – the same day we exited the final portion of the original trade:
Three days later, we were able to exit half of that position up over 100%:
And just this morning, we exited the final half – up over 100% as well:
When a call trade is winning and breaking new highs, chances are, it could push even higher…
So we can take some of our wins to play a smaller position of that same directional move.
HOWEVER, there are some important considerations when opening and exiting this roll-up strategy:
How much profit have we already made?
What is our risk?
How much time value is left in the trade?
And I like to help traders learn how to answer those questions and make the best moves to profit with this strategy.
