1. CHPT – ChargePoint Holdings Inc (NYSE:CHPT)

I caught a multi-leg Big Money play in CHPT. A trader sold some January calls for this week to roll and buy some of next week’s calls.

Rolling long into an earnings report could be a risky move – unless you are like this trader and know something everyone else doesn’t.

This player was right and is looking to make more in the same bullish direction.

Here are THREE more big money flow names – one bullish roll and two pre-earnings sales: 

2. BHC – Bausch Health Companies Inc (NYSE:BHC)

A trader was long about 70,000 calls for February. They sold 50k of them to buy even more in March.

They caught this stock when it was about $7 and rode the wild run-up – now it is over $8.

They originally paid $0.32 and $0.40 and sold 50k at $0.76 making over 100%. Then they took most of their profit and bought more.  

This trader is definitely looking for a continued rally in BHC. 

3. GE – General Electric Company (NYSE:GE)

GE has earnings today. Yesterday, I caught a big money trader selling about 70k puts as a yield play ahead of earnings.

Their plan was to take advantage of a bump in volatility. 

4. TXN – Texas Instruments Incorporated (NASDAQ:TXN)

TXN also has earnings today after the bell. I saw a trader selling the calls to get out before earnings drop.

Even the big-money players seem to know my earnings motto: trade to it, not through it. 

Then after earnings, we may see more big money flow on these names.
